Well, it may not be as revolutionary as his discoveries that serve to advance technology, but this is (based on how I understand it) a fairly simple and compact design, but can cause massive destruction covertly. If TPTB have this design (which I don't doubt for a second), I can't see them having any reservations using it for destruction.
It would offer them a clean way of bringing ruin to things, without implicating themselves. In fact, people who sifted through rubble how may stumble onto the device would not even know what it was. No chance of being busted ALA thermite puddles and 45 degree angel beam cuts, etc.
I remember before this topic was seemingly scrubed from the net, I found one particular article that talked about the Russians using (Testing) this design, in Russia. They called it the Russian Black Box. They were experimenting in an underground facility, and when they activated it, they thought it was a failure. It was attached to the earth itself. They walked away from it, leaving it activated.
After a time (within hours) the facility started to sway. The earth itself in the surrounding vicinity started to moan. Once the device had locked in on the resonant frequency of the earth, it took some time to make the mass respond to the amplified resonance, but the increase was exponential. By the time the scientific team made it back down to the testing area, the building and ground was moving aggressively, to the point that they were having extreme difficulty maintaining their balance and footing.
They struggled to deactivate the unit, which they did succeed in, but the earth took hours to stop the motioning and the moaning. Apparently they were all in fear for their lives, to the point that they mothballed the project completely. They destroyed the prototype and locked up the plans. They surmised that they would have split the continent in half, had they left the unit operating.
This is the way I remember the story, but it's been >5 years or so since I last saw that article.
Who knows. It could all be baloney, but we all know what a genius Tesla was.
I'm glad to see a couple posts in this thread. I thought it would be a shame for it to go unnoticed. Since discovering the breadth of the conspiracy I'm always suspect of everything; including earthquakes.
(Yes, I know they occur naturally, but I don't think that they occur naturally exclusively)
