Have you ever heard the phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."? Well, what I am saying is 'Truth is in the mind of the beholder.' And when your mind beholds something that the government or the mainstream media tells you, you have a choice. You can believe it uncritically, or you can ask questions before you believe it. One of the factors that should guide your willingness to believe something is how often the government and the mainstream media have lied in the past. What they feed us is disinformation--which is a big lie with a little truth in it. The real trick is to separate the truth from the lie, and to try to discern what their agenda is for spinning the information this way. This is not always an easy task, and it often takes a lot of like-minded people to guess at what is going on beneath the surface to come up with a believable story. We seem to do a lot of that here at GSUS. Hatha
