Thanks for the link Hermie.

I was browsing some other articles @ activist post, and one in particular about SOPA had a comment that really hit me hard.

What I find the most disturbing about this whole scenario is not the public's outcry against the passage of SOPA and PIPA. No, what I find most apalling is the almost total LACK of a public whimper against the MUCH more egregious NDAA for 2012.

Stepping back for a minute, the main reason Joe6Pack is angry about SOPA is that the daily routine of internet provided bread and circuses stands to be disrupted.

I am, in no uncertain terms, referring to the type of folks on GSUS, ZH and the like - people like us will always find a way to get and share information.

The Joe and Jane 6packs of the world did not even know that NDAA was passed, let alone what it stood for. There should be full scale rioting against the White House for signing NDAA, and as that comment I posted above says, there was not even a whimper.

We've said for a long time on these forums that the people will not revolt until their NFL/Dancing with the Stars is taken away from them (and never will be) - the ruckus caused online by the potential to pass SOPA coupled with the utter lack of complaint about NDAA, is a damning indictment of our current state of affairs in the US society.
