I think love is a verb and we show we love someone by our actions. One of the ways your show your love is by being faithful to your spouse. If one of partners is unfaithful does the unfaithful one really love their partner. I don't think so. Rosa may have stuck with her husband but I suspect she loved her old boyfriend but couldn't have him. I'd have divorced her too.
