I keep reading the news and everytime that someone over 65 is involved in something they right away say "elderly" "old" and so on.......make it sound like we have a foot in the grave.

I am almost 72 and I really don't feel or look my age and very healthy, the only thing is that I cannot do is to run as in the "old" days but still climb trees and the roof of my house, dig holes, fix things and so on.........for some reason people treat me with great respect and I really don't know why, maybe it is because when I talk to someone I look into eyes them instead of just looking at them......I always like to know who I am dealing with.

I would like to think that the reason for me to think this way is that all my people on my fathers side usually live to be over 100..... sorry to say that they were not 100% healthy, after all..........they did die hahahahahahahahaha.

How about you? ....... any "old" fart like me that feels the same way?
