Bullshit! If everyone paid their "fair share" the state would increase spending by 25%! Wake up people: the social welfare state will always run deficits and accumulate debt - it is it's very raison d'etre! The system is imploding and everyone needs to prepare or they will pay with thier lives for believing the empty promises of the government.
