i guess it's natural for people to pick a particular date.

obviously the murder of al-Awlaki, who i don't know much about but who does not seem threatening to me, could be picked as "the day".

but i would have to go back to 9-11 - and my guess is, there are plenty of close seconds.

for example, the sinking of the Titanic, which may have been deliberate, and which eliminated the primary opposition to the creation of the Federal Reserve (2 or 3 extremely wealthy Americans) - well, it's not like the Fed has done us any favors.

shortly after the creation of the Fed came WW1, a pre-requisite for WW2, one of the primary justifications for the creation of Israel.

but if PCR wants to debate the subject, i would say 9-11, not 9-30-11, was the day America died. the nation's leaders didn't conspire to kill just one or 2 Americans on 9-11, as they did on 9-30-11.

but debating THE DAY seems like re-arranging deck chairs on the aforementioned Titanic. the 64 million ounces of gold question ... is how do we live today, given that the American government was hi-jacked at some time in the past (the date of JFK's assassination, perhaps ?)
