sh!t, hogs usually yield at least 200 pounds of meat, at $2 a pound wholesale that's $400 pounds minimum per hog.

hog rustling might be more profitable than stealing horses.
That seems kinda high. I doubt you get more than 60% of hog weight in saleable meat and you don't let hogs get over 250 lbs or they'll be tough. A lot of cuts sell at $2 a pound retail.
