It's interesting, when I was a kid in the 80s, I listened to the Beatles and thought they were the greatest ... now that I have heard much more music, I find the Beatles music with only very few exceptions to be dated and worn.

Van Morrison's first few albums, "Astral Weeks", "Veedon Fleece", "Moondance" are head and shoulders above anything the Beatles ever did.
