The med/pharm industry makes way too much money treating illnesses to actually CURE anything else.

Who would need to go the doc or the pharmacy after they have been cured?

NO ONE!

Face it, we stopped having "patients" in this country a long time ago. We are now all CUSTOMERS.

It's all about repeat business.

For instance, take a drug company who's patented a drug that alleviates pain from gastro-intestinal reflux angina and makes 1.5 billion dollars a year from sales of that drug. What incentive do they have to develop a cure for reflux angina?
