Actually, those can bite also during the day, and you can get infected also by killing them with your hand... I used to work with Chagas during one semester while studying Biology in Venezuela... most people don't even know how to get infected and do not even recognize the real bugs... we started a campaign to educate people and were surprised when they started to bring stink-bugs to our lab for analysis....
