ITV had a particularly unlucky streak of missing crucial action in the breaks and not recapping adequately.

Brundle commented on this recently in a Radio 5 interview, and he put it into perspective.

Out of the 170 odd races they covered, you can probably only name a handful of important incidents they missed, which is to be fair to ITV a pretty good ratio.

Whilst it was annoying they had ads, I do feel that they were responsible in how they implemeneted them in the races.
