If Alonso goes to Ferrari, then I think he would be more willing to take a joint No1 role their than at McLaren. After all, he would be partnering a driver who has more experience and fought for 3 world championships and lost them through car problems, not lack of talent, wereas he was partnering a rookie this and expected to be showing him the ropes.

Still, if Kimi starts getting the upper hand on Alonso regularly then we could see his toys flying out of the pram again.
