really this is such a ignorant statement, my toy poodle can easily do damage. Do your dogs have teeth? Then they can fight..
its doesn't matter if they have fighting tendencies if one decides it doesn't want to put up with the other or decides to get aggressive over anything ( and you can say you don't leave toys/ bones out but it can happen over a damn water bowl). And it's BiCHon not BiSHon...
thank you for being my spell check. i didnt know people got offended if you spelled a bichon wrong. there must be a community of hard core bichon enthusiasts around lol. ive had cocker spaniels, toy poodles, short haired springer spaniels, patterdales years ago and APBT's. out of all these dogs i would crate/kennel the APBT's and the Patterdales. ive seen the toy poodle go at it with the bichon, its more a war with there vocals. im sure all dogs can get into a fight no matter the breed, but what risk is there compared to a bulldog/terrier breed ? i crate my little dogs not because i dont trust them to fight, but because i dont want a mess when i get home. its up to the owners judgement really on what dog they have and whether or not that dog is trustworthy to be together in the house while your gone without making a mess. FYI my toy poodle has zero teeth lol. and that poodle of yours is a cur dog it will never fight like a bulldog or a terrier. these dogs will fight to the death. there must be a underground world i dont know of that pits poodles now lol. ok ok all jokes aside crating is the best thing for all dogs thats just what i believe, but some breeds if the owners trust them can do fine if left alone together. i dont even see the argument in that statement.
