This is one of my favorites (and I've heard it more than once)...

Pit bulls WILL snap one day because due to poor breeding their brains will outgrow their skull at a certain point. When the pressure gets to be too much...WATCH OUT!

Here's a good one from my dad:

dad: The thing with pit bulls is they are unpredictable. You think they're your best friend and one day they just go off.

me: Dad, do you know ANYONE that has a pit bull that ever validated that thought?

dad: That's not the point. They're wild animals. It's in them and you can never get it out.

Apparently he was unaware of the hundreds of years of domestication that took place before these dogs even existed.
