Not enough room in my home for two medium sized dogs? He was only staying here until he got all his shots. Also the term of agreement for me to keep him was that he goes across the street. It was something that was planned and I thought I said on here that was going to happen with him? I don't live in a fancy home or anything. I actually live in a rather small trailer.

When we manage to get our own place (Hopefully a year from now), he will be coming with us.

And I just wanted to add that there was nothing wrong with the pin or how we fixed it up. He dug out and then opened the gate to the large yard himself. -.=' I have a smart dog on my hands.
i don't know whether or not you've said that on here before, as i haven't read every single one of your posts, i'm glad you found out what the problem with the yard is, i hope you take the proper steps to fix it, perhaps getting a lock to keep the gate shut, i've never seen a dog pick a lock lol.
Is there anything stopping him from digging out the fenced area even if you did put a lock on it? Perhaps a nice chain spot would be your best bet.
be sure to provide shelter and plenty of water (obviously). If you choose to go with a chain spot make sure he won't be able to rap himself around anything and choke himself. And i'm sure you won't be like this, but please don't be an "out of sight out of mind" owner and be sure to visit him on a daily basis.
