This makes me so sad. It literally breaks my heart knowing that dogs like this are being purposefully created. We had a seriously disgusting looking Am Bully get loose from his owner here once. He was brought into the shelter by a cop and the dog just killed me. He was so friendly and tried so hard to get attention. He was waddling around, being super excited, but he had to keep stopping to lie down. And then someone new would walk in and he'd work his way back to a stand and try to hurry over to them. He was huffing and puffing and wheezing. I ended up wrapping my arms around him and crying. I kept him in the office with me. The poor dog couldn't even live his life the way he should have been able to. It's so sad.
