In the end this is going to be part of my journey of owning a Pit Bull and how people view me. (from what he alluded I'm nothing but a criminal and using the dog for fighting) ick!!

I'm pretty sure he was just detailing the history of the breed and the characteristics of the breed currently. Unless he said "I use my dogs for dog fighting", you're just making baseless assumptions.
