I have recently started taking my 5 month old pup to the dog park when there's no one or next to no one around also. I know there not good places for our breed to be but he needs an open grass/dirt area to run around in and the small space at my appartment gets old to him sometimes. I always try and stay in my "section" of the park far away from the entrance or where most people tend to hang out and let there dogs frolic. I alway stay close by him and if any other dog approaches me or him I always make sure I'm I between them and can intervene if anything seems awry

Has your pup had all it's parvo shots??? Be aware as parvo could be lurking in public dog parks and you don't want your 5 month old pup to get that or any other health issues.
