You dog off leash in public for any reason is a problem waiting to happen, for you and everyone you might possibly come in contact with. Don't be a problem be part of the solution and keep your dogs on a leash when in public or public property at all times.

I know of someone right now paying off a $14,000 judgement because their very friendly and well trained pit bull decided to not like one dog that was being walked on a leash by someone. As usual the pit bull owner is shocked as he never had a problem before and his dog always got along fine with other dogs, loved to play and frolic at the beach. He is still trying to figure what the other dog did to piss off his dog. Funny actually as the other dog was on a leash with its owner. Some people just refuse to learn, and too many other just think the leash law does not apply to their perfectly behaved mongrel.
