For the price of a good watch dog and training, you can get some motion sensors installed at the entrance of your driveway and there will be an audible tone in your home when a vehicle passes it. They aren't that expensive at all. Get a good one and they never fail either

Agreed. I love my dogs and my god Koi barks at everything. But I really wouldn't rely on them as guard dogs. Just get a motion system or camera system installed so you can watch people yourself.
