Depending on where we are walking and my mood, my dogs can be anything from dragging me down the trail to heeling perfectly. They know commands for each... There's "here" for a left side casual heel ("foos" for formal heel), "other side" for a right side casual heel, "free" to wander on a loose lead, and "have at it" to pull, stop and sniff things for too long, be a jerk, etc. if they want (except circling and crossing close in front of me... HATE those!) lol
