I'm pretty sure Virginia is BSL free as well. I live in the Hampton Roads area (which consists of Norfolk, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth etc) and we have no problems.

Shhhhhh! I was afraid to say this because I didn't want to jinx it. The dogs are VERY popular around here and so far they are tolerated. I do cringe when some idiots can't control their dogs and the dog allegedly "attacks" a kid at the school bus stop. Instead of blaming the owner, they blame the breed. What about the guy who was breeding the AB's and had them in a shed and the puppies died from Parvo? Sad.
