Uhh dogs are carnivores..I would say that they *would* die without meat lol maybe not now....maybe not tomorrow or next year, but I would say they will die due to their poor diet. Supplementing can only bring you so far. I never understood the logic of feeding a dog a vegetarian diet, it makes sense for humans to be vegetarian because they can survive being omnivores without meat but even they will have deficiencies and have to take iron pills and the like. A dog is a carnivore, as has been proven again and again. Not only is it completely against nature, but it doesn't make sense. There are quite a few raw feeders who are vegans. That's how much they know about canine nutrition. IMO you would be better off feeding a crappy kibble over a vegetarian diet.
