Wish I had a link near you. I only have the one from the lady posting them here in my area.

Everyone is always encouraged to go to a rescue or to the Humane Society or SPCA. A lot of people never think to look for a new dog at the dog pound/AC if their city or county has one. The dogs in those places usually have the shortest time to be pulled by a rescue or adopted. I'd say check local cities near you to see if they have a municiple pound and maybe go have a look there. Back when I was looking to adopt I went to the local city pound a couple times a week looking for a dog I could see living with happily. If you want a Pit bull I can't imagine any shortage. Our city has 10 pens for dogs and as of right now 6 of them are occupied by Pit Bulls or Pit mixes.
