Why don't you read some of the sticky threads on this site, it might help you decide which breed to get.

I became a pitbull rehabber overnnight and read the forum threads and knew what to expect.

This breed needs time for training, excercise as they can be high energy drive (45 minutes a day, at least), dog aggressive and high prey drive. not everyone wants to see you come visit their house with your dog, as these dogs can be dog aggressive. You can try to control it but it is NEVER a guarantee of how the dog will behave around another dog.
