No clue! If anyone else has any ideas I'd be glad to listen. Maybe give him more bone since you are feeding him raw? Like...give him an RMB an hour or two before you walk? Just brainstorming!
That might be an idea, or maybe give a high bone content meal that morning, so its in his lower intestines when we walk that afternoon? Might work, or a RMB after a small kibble breakfast.. I think I am going to try that and see, I just bought a giant pack of big beef ribs for him, looks like he is getting those tomorrow! lol

My vet said that the reason dogs walk while they poop is because it's actually painful. When they start walking, it's a sign that the dog's anal glands need to be expressed. We all know vets have different opinions so who's to say if this really is what it means..

Other thing, do you think the increased poo/softer poo could be due to the mixing of raw and kibble? I mean, I've never actually done it so I can only go off what other people say. From what I have read, it's a coin flip for how people feel about it. Some people think it's okay if it's spread by 12 hours. Some people think it truly messes with the dog's system. Could it be that you're reaching the point where you need to choose one or the other? Maybe he was fine with it at first but it's no longer sitting well with him?

Just a couple ideas
Oh, no he doesnt walk at all when he poo's I meant when we are walking he will stop and poo lol his anal glands are in great shape though, he has plenty of "poop juice" as I call it every time he poo's
I would think if he walked while he poo'd he would be straining or something, probably the gland thing, but he doesnt he just stops, poo's like normal, its just soft and not all the way ready to be out..

I dont think so, he has been on the raw/kibble thing for like 5months or something and has never even had a soft poo since starting. Even when he got organs the first time he was firm as could be.

I think its fine the way I feed him, if I even thought I was causing him distress I would stop and go back to 100% kibble, but he seems much better on 50/50 and looks so much better after having started. I know some people praise it, others attack me and say I am hurting him for doing it. His poo and body tell me that he is doing great on it, I will try and get poo pictures tomorrow so be ready! lol

I dont think its his body choosing, because I feed him the same and if I dont walk him he has solid firm perfect poo all day, and anything over 1 1/2-2 miles is when he poo's the second time, then another 2 miles and the second one comes, but later that night when he is made to poo its firm solid great looking poo. I think its the runner shits as stated above, maybe he will get over it once his body gets used to it?

Thank you for the ideas, I should be selling this place soon *cross your fingers* and will be in the market for a house, and bigger better fridge for our food so he can have the whole chest freezer for his, and he will be on 100% raw and should have tiny rabbit poo lol I swear his now looks like a cats poop and thats just 50% raw!

^^That too Amara. The mixing of kibble and raw could definitely be doing that.
But if that was the issue, the days we dont walk at all, or are "off" and only do 2 miles he would still be having the loose poo.. but he doesnt which makes me think its the runner shit thing..
