Yeah, Pookie, I only knew that because the hubby was hell bent on a Cavalier until we started researching genetic defects. Those poor dogs are actually worse off than EB's when it comes to debilitating health problems. Which is when I started looking at Britts. Because I figured if he liked the Cavaliers maybe a Britt would work. Then the research of dog breeds and genetic issues lead us to the bullies and somehow we ended up with the motley crew we have.

There's a really sad segment or two on the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in "Pedigree Dogs Exposed" by the BBC if you haven't seen it you might find it interesting.
