I think it qualifies as sortta dogless. Japa's pug is elderly, if I remember right. I don't know how old, but I remember when my Toy Poodle got old he just napped, woke when I left the room, followed me to the new location and then immediately went back to napping. it was almost like having a dog,lol. He just retired from doing any doggy things but eating,pooping, and sleeping.
