So, a couple of days ago, I was on my way home from visiting family. A dog, wearing a collar, ran right into the road. Thankfully, I stopped the car in time, and she or he was able to get across. I don't know if it was running from it's home, or if it was running back, but the thing is, it could've been hit by a car, truck, tractor trailer. So many things could've happened to it. I'm just happy that it was safe. I have no idea if it's owners, whoever they are, have a fenced in yard or not, or if the chain/tether her. But honestly, if they don't, it would be a good idea to do one or both of these things. Especially considering that this particular road is pretty busy. There's a school not to far from there, and loads of people work down the road, and are coming back home, etc.
