That is true as well. I didn't even think about that, sorry brain wasn't totally working yet when I posted. I know one of the shelters we are involved with won't adopt any small breeds out to homes with small children, I guess the same could go for bigger dogs too. Hey even though you say this dog is not the dog (obviously with not being able to be with other dogs and cats) as far as not getting a rescue, I keep saying my next puppy will come from a reputable breeder, but you never know what life throws at you. I very well could end up with another shelter dog before I end up with my purebred from a reputable breeder. That's not in the plans but you never know. The dog almost always picks you it seems
