Went over tonight to take her a tie out cable I had in my truck, because the possibly pregnant Lab broke her tie out. I was wrong about the number of dogs.. she has 5 BT's, so she had a total of 21 dogs.... and a friend of hers is giving her a donkey. I just cannot do anything to get through to her. I give up on trying to educate her, I just try to help if she goes out of town by feeding the dogs. I feel sorry for them.... none of them get any attention, especially the dogs that outside on tie outs. I'm not even sure they get fed every day. It breaks my heart, but there is nothing I can do. I have 5 dogs and 2 cats and that's way too many animals.... I never planned to have that many dogs, and I won't have that many in the future, but at least I can rest easy knowing that I have given 5 dogs better lives than they may have had otherwise. But this girl??? I swear, I don't think there is any hope for her, and most of you that know me, know that I never say anything like that, but with her, it's true.
