I always walk Romeo during the night and he's fine. Although once, it was around 10pm and normally Romeo pulls on his leash trying to get to all the smells but he was walking pretty much attached to my knee and his hackles were up. When I looked around I noticed a group of 3 suspicious looking men hanging out between some cars. When I walked by them they started to follow me and I think Romeo picked up on their odd behavior and my nervousness because he started growling at them and they backed off. That was only the second time he's ever growled at someone. Now that I think about it, I think the first time he growled might have been one of those same guys creeping around the edge of my sister's property... But yeah, that was the only time Romeo's acted out of character during an outing.
