This has happened to me quite a few times. My pit bull is a rescue he's fantastic but can be dog reactive...once again this evening we were walking in town, I saw a woman walking her dog about a block away and I crossed the street to avoid them we're working on remaining calm when we are in proximity of a pup we don't know...all of a sudden this little dog came running up to us growling and jumping up in my pit bull's face....I had my dog under control but couldn't control the little dog... my dog threw him a few times...finally the owner came up and got her dog-it was like slow motion-I'm guessing she was sitting inside a restaurant and didn't realize her dog had run out. I think he was fine and we kept walking...but what do I do? Kick the other dog? Again my dog wasn't growling or barking just annoyed. I'd just like to know what others do when you encounter this.
