If that's for the entlebucher, I wouldn't call them large dogs other than their attitudes. They're probably 14-16in at most in height, at least for the girls. I'm sure if they were trained properly they'd be less fruity.
Thanks everyone! MJ - I can't wait until she's big enough to have some real fun with. Puppies are cute, but not my thing. It's everyone else that wants a puppy! I am so over puppies. For the last 3 years every time a dog hit a year old I started over again with a puppy. I am DONE with baby anythings. Baby dogs, baby people, baby parrots..hell, I don't even want baby fish! LL - I haven't meant an Entlebucher yet, but I love what I have read. If this falls through, we will be taking a closer look at them They sound very similar to the ACDs my aunt and uncle have had which is what was attracting me to them. We like batty dogs. Makes life more fun! Only if your psychiatrist has you on the good meds! Monkeys - I actually was interested in getting a Border Collie, but no go with the family members. They think BCs are too neurotic and not 'sturdy' enough. LOL Argument was futile. At least we did not end up with the Corgi that my aunt wanted. That is not my cup of tea! My Aunt had a rotten little Corgie. I hated that smelly, ungroomed, misbehaving, mean, little thing! I couldn't even manage to be sad when it finally died. She got a "Puggle" a few months later and I try not to gag every time I see it. Still waiting to hear back. We are all getting antsy and starting to pick out names. I like Mayhem (May for short), Anarchy (Annie for short) and Chaos (Kay for short). I vote Mayhem! It fits the breed and I get a laugh out of the "Mayhem" Allstate Insurance commercials!
