I'm sorry but these statistics are skewed. People encounter things like their bathtubs many more times in their lifetime than they do a pit bull, so obviously the stats are going lean towards the bathtubs "killing" more people than a pit bull. Babies spend a ton of time in their cribs, if every baby in the country spent the same amount of time sleeping with a pit bull (or any dog for that matter) the statistics would not look the same.

I'm not trying to say pit bulls are bad dogs, just saying the the statistics are misleading.
