And I swear to god, the next dog that even looks at Roxie funny is gonna get the shit beat out of it. I've had enough of her getting attacked, whether the dog be be off leash or on... Normally I'm very good at protecting her, but tonight a Border Collie ran through a field (we were walking on the side of the road) and nailed Roxie so hard that the leash came out of my hands and Roxie flew (yes, FLEW) into the road, nearly getting run over by a car. She's got bite wounds on her legs and she's limping... I'm gonna have to take her to the vet tomorrow.

I really wish I was in the shape to have been able to run after it, but it took off like a bullet. This dog completely came out of nowhere, neither me nor Roxie even heard it (well, I think she did, but at the last second... she had zero time to react). I have never been so pissed off. Anyway, I cleaned up the wounds, put antiseptic on them...

I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do with her now, I can't have her hurting herself with that limp... though hopefully that's just from impact and nothing major. But if that dog ever crosses paths with me again... god help it.
