My pup broke a collar on a walk. She ran. I just ignored her and turned around and walked toward home. As soon as she realized that I wasnt chasing her she followed me home. Good thing we were close to home.

It is funny that the original poster described the collar as "very sturdy." It doesnt sound very sturdy to me
