well fannie met her first min pin today. I told the owner to please pick his dog up and let me get fannie into a sit. So i got fannie into a sit position. had the owner walk over(fannie is under my control the whole time). i let her sniff the min pin and when it barked(okay yipped) at her she cocked her head then started to wag her tail(she really likes dogs). So on the walk back the min pin was again running down the side walk at as full force and yipping this time. i put fannie in a sit(thank god i got a good girl who follows directions), picked up the min pin and gave fannie the signal that it was okay to get up that we where walking again. took the horney little min pin back to his owner. i told him he is lucky it was my dog his min pin encountered and not some other dog. I know large dogs that would of eaten that min pin for dinner and not thought twice about it. Im proud that my girl despite the small dog running up did as i asked and behaved-now if i could get her to do that when she sees a cat...
