Never going into the bathroom alone. Ever.

Feeling like a heel when you leave and don't take your dog(s) with you.

Throwing away all you thought you knew about science. A Pit will rearrange molecules to fit in an impossibly small space next to you and to take up 3 dogs worth of space in your bed.

Laughing at farts and gaining a new appreciation of fart jokes.

Hardening your heart towards bunnies/squirrels/stray cats and the like because they are now prey/vermin and your dog is the sun and moon.

Finding out you don't like other people as much as you thought you did.

Learning to love harder and play harder than you ever thought you could.

Realizing there is no such thing as "dog proof" trash cans.

Wondering from time to time if we are really smarter than canines.

Being willing to grab a dog with one hand and use the other (hopefully with something over it) to pull a string of poo out of their butts because they ate something odd again.

We all talk about the responsibility owning this breed means, but I can never get enough to the funny or the touching. What does having a Pit bull mean to you?
