Yeah, I agree. Now I think there should be just enough breeders, even of pet breeds, to keep breeds from extinction... but that's about it...

I also don't have a problem with breeding sporting dogs, because they're the healthiest examples of their breed. I'm not big on people breeding purely conformation dogs. That's how you get dogs like in that Pedigree Dogs Exposed doc.
