I'm in new york city... we have no such stores, just home depot and lowes. And I don't know where lowes is lol.
But also to the folks who walk their dogs, do you keep them on heel or do you allow them to pull?

I don't make my dog heel unless I want him near me or we are crossing the street. I don't believe you should heel the dog during the entire walk. It is quite boring for the dog. I let him sniff in designated areas, and do loose leash walking. I do not allow him to pull, that is a 'no no' for me. And then we run, but only when I allow him to run.
