I disagree. The scene in Ireland has a lot of staffys which are bigger than the KC standard. You are likely to find someone along the way decided to try to breed "Irish staffords" and this has given the additional height and the weight would also be a result..
So the "Irish Staffordshire" is the same thing as the Staffordshire Bull Terrier?

Or are they just Staffordshire Bull Terriers bred for more height?
