I understand that she made a grave mistake, and perhaps was a little irresponsible with her dog, but I don't think there is any need to be so rude and demeaning towards her. Making sarcastic comments and rude remarks ins't going to get us anywhere. How about just giving her some advice and solutions for when/if she gets her dog back? I'm pretty sure she knows she made mistakes, and you guys don't need to confirm it for her.

And don't bother starting on me.

In terms of advice, I am not quite sure what to say as I don';t know where you live, what the laws are etc. All I can say is I feel for you and hope you get your dogs back.
