I totally get what you are saying... Thank Goodness that Darla is ok with her crate, however....
there was a series of days/weeks/possibly a month where no matter how often she was let out I would come home to find a puppy with poop all over the crate and her... she would poop and then like play in it!

I seriously consisdered giving her back like 5 times a day at first. It was really hard! Now that she is finally maturing it is all worth it... but there are still days I could kill her.

I think it's cause I have Bubba and he was just always so easy... and Darla is so not easy!

Blue will get a hold of things and my wife gets furious, lol. He will chew anything up he can, even a beer or coke can. He is only 12 months old and I know he just wants to chew on something but no way I would leave him out while I'm gone. He does great when we are around but will still test me. He will grab the remote and look at me, lol. I tell him firmly no and he drops it slowly and walks off but he is definitely mischievous. Anytime he is not in eye sight my wife will say "where is Blue" because he just looks around for stuff.

We let him out one day and looked outside to find this. Check out the umbrella!
I laughed when I saw the umbrella... that sucks!

My dogs crate is under the stairs and if I make the mistake of putting the crate close enough to where she can reach the stairs she will eat them.

The is a small area where she has nawed on them! I am so careful now!
