Diesel has been taking some abuse lately, and I must say I feel for him! Paige is growing fast, and now officially walking around. This only means I have to chase her and stop her from beating on the dogs. I caught her the other day balling up her little fist and punching the poor pup in the face! Obviously the 17 month old didn't hurt him, but he pulled his head back and got this sad "I didn't do nuffin" look on his face. I petted him and told him he was a very good boy and got on Paige for being mean. I'm trying to teach her that you pet the puppies not hit them. And her style of petting is the typical hard push of the fur, coinsiding with a loud "AWWWWWW" then she throws herself on top of him and lays there pretending to be asleep. The whole time my pooch just looks up and licks her face. I love how gentle he is with her, but wish I could teach her to be gentle with him!
