Well Paul had Roxy when we were first dating and my dads first reaction to her was of pure fear. But then a day trip to a nearby lake changed my parents thoughts as Roxy went to sit on my mom while in a lawn chair lol. After that it was love. But when I told them that we were getting another dog and looking into pitbulls my dad went on the "they will rip your face off, locking jaw, they are only made to kill blah blah blah". And then we brought over our new addition and he said he wouldn't judge the dog on the breed and just judge him on the dog himself and they love him. They consistently ask for me to bring them over. And they love telling the family outside of our province about them and being advocates about them. Completely changed their minds. Even my brother, who had a run in with a "pitbull" while being a door to door gas meter reader and swore off them, loves them.

Pauls family is good as they had Roxy as she grew up, except for a few held judgements. When we got Rex, Pauls uncle told Pauls grandma that we were stupid to get him and we should get rid of him right now because of the danger that we are in with him. But as time has gone on he's realized he makes judgments too quickly. Just a few weeks ago he even told me that he thought we were silly for getting him at first but he's turned out pretty good.
