there are quite a few good show bred breeders out in mid FL, i really hope you know what youre getting yourself into with a GSD cause IMO APBTs are a breeze compared to a GSD.
If only you knew how TRUE this statement is. My APBT is EASY compaired to my shepherds.GSD are not for the faint of heart nor the immaculate housekeeper. They shed a TON,need a good strong pack leader, are idependant minded, protective and can be aloof with new people until they get used to them. My one gsd, doesn't like people. She tolerates them if I ask her to,but she's rather stand-offish,doesn't enjoy the interactions and is NOT a social dog.My coated girl will warm up to new people much faster than my stock coat. She is wonderful with new people when she gets to know them.

I am sort of sad you won't 'consider' looking at a rescue adoption.I do understand you wanting to 'pick' a pup out of a litter. Many gsd rescue agencies do end up with younger puppies and sometimes a full litter is born there. Its your choice and I just don't want you to 'shut out' that as an option,if it did present itself. I bought from a breeder for my stock coat girl, and I love her to bits. However,if she would have come from a rescue agency-I wouldn't love her any less. It's the RIGHT DOG not the right source, you should be seeking.
