I don't understand how people are suddenly glorifying mutts yet still refusing to get one from a shelter...both are likely to be poorly bred and, considering the interested buyer, poorly trained. I don't see the difference.

Because if they have two names stuck together instead of one name with "mix" or "cross" attached to the end, then they are not mutts, they're DESIGNER HYBRIDS!!! DUUUUHR!
