Gosh, this sounds totally familar!
My two girls have a bad habit of counter surfing for food my husband leaves too close to the edge.

I will never again buy 4 dollar loaf of bread because it looks good and is brand name.

why?

the day I bought it home it was gone.

Talk about being ticked the next day when I could not find my bread to make a sandwich only to find out my husband threw away the package to prevent me from finding out about it.
come on...I know I didn't misplace the bread!

good post concerning keeping the bread away from your dogs, this includes giving medication as well. If mine will not let me shove it down their throats, a hot dog or cheese will suffice

even though they LOVE bread.
